By investing a minimum amount of €3000, you can help us fund the molds needed to start production of the Galvani Ventisei. For this you will receive twenty certificates of shares (0.2% of the value) of Galvani Boats B.V. by the end of 2025. Where are we now?
We started Galvani from an holistic vision on sustainable electric propulsion, thoughtful comfort, quality, and stunning design. While traditional market players retrofit existing boats for electric power, we chose a "greenfield" approach in which our vision and goals are realized.
Efficiency is crucial in electric boating, where lower resistance results in more efficient energy consumption. The weight distribution in an electric boat is also different from traditional boats, where the motor is the heaviest component. In an electric boat, the electric motor is lightweight, and consideration must be given to heavy batteries.
With these principles and our years of experience as avid water sports enthusiasts, we have completely redesigned the Galvani Ventisei over the past two years. Initially, we, in collaboration with Bernd Weel Design, customized the design of the Ventisei to our insights and preferences. Bernd has created a beautiful, modern tender with classic lines and a very thoughtful and comfortable interior.
Subsequently, Sea Level Naval Architects worked on the underwater hull, propulsion system layout, and all technical details. Advanced design and simulation technology were used in this process. Input included not only Bernd Weel's design but also the fully detailed "specifications" of the boat. The "specifications" list everything that needs to be on board, including dimensions and weights, from the motor and batteries to the refrigerator and lighting. An additional requirement was that we could build the boats in mass production.
The result are 3D drawings (files) of the most efficient underwater hull in which all equipment - such as the motor, propulsion, batteries, accessories, etc. - is arranged in such a way that the boat is stable, strong, safe, and economical. In addition to the 3D drawings for the hull we have also developed the deck and all hatches and bins in 3D. These 3D drawings will allow us to start producing the molds.
Coverworks and Studio Bouwmeester were responsible for the design of the seat cushions and backrests, and together with Bernd Weel, we developed a sturdy sprayhood, bimini, and cover.
Our marketing efforts have started with the website, social media channels, a brochure, and "lifelike" renders that we had created by Urge Studio.
Galvani Boats BV has a promising market position in the luxury, high-quality electric tender segment. The number of companies that have opted exclusively for electric propulsion, and developed a new boat from that philosophy, is very limited. Market reactions to the design of the Galvani Ventisei have been consistently positive.
We are ready for the next step!
Next steps
Now that the detailed design is ready, and contracts with suppliers - subject to production - have been finalized, two crucial next steps come into focus.
First and foremost is selling the Galvani Ventisei to customers. We aim to sell as much as possible directly to affluent private consumers, luxury waterfront hotels, and superyacht builders and brokers interested in the Ventisei as a tender. Our prime target market is Europe (European lakes and Mediterranean coast) and Scandinavia (lakes and sheltered coastal waters). The suggested price for the Ventisei starts from €125,000 (excluding VAT), and for the high-speed Ventisei e-HS, it's around €210,000 (excluding VAT), with a gross margin that allows us to establish a financially healthy company.
Another important step is the creation of molds necessary to build the boat's hulls. The molds will be produced by Nedcam Solutions in Heerenveen and cost approximately €300,000 (excluding VAT). Once we've signed the first three orders for the Ventisei, we will instruct Nedcam to produce the molds. With these molds, our hull builder (Adel Polyester) can produce a minimum of 100 boats.

Q & A Incrowd funding
Certainly! Since we started in 2021, both founders (50/50 ownership) have invested over €60,000. This is in addition to the hours we have dedicated to the business so far. The intellectual property and rights, to everything produced thus far, belong entirely to Galvani Boats BV. The company is debt-free, and both shareholders hold 100% of the shares (50/50).
In the months to come, both shareholders will continue to invest in the company, both financially and with their time. A management fee will only be paid when the financial situation of the company allows for it.
